The summer challenge consists of four stages, to be completed within two months;

Walking stage

This requires the rider to walk 10,000 steps per
day, consecutively, for two weeks.

Minutes stage

1000 minutes spent training your horse,
consecutively, for three weeks. (This is around
16.5 hours).

Miles stage

100 miles to be completed with your horse, either
ridden or on foot, over a month. (You can combine
this with your step count and training minutes).

Challenge stage

Choose 10 challenges from the list to complete in
one week.

Challenges consist of over 250 groundwork and ridden tasks ranging from easy to more advanced.

For those of you who would like more of a challenge and perhaps already do a lot with your horse, come take a look at our Extreme summer challenge, it’s the same requirements, however you only have ONE month to get them done.Β 

The EXTREME summer challenge consists of four stages; to be completed within one month;

Examples include: Lunge your horse in 3 circles, ride a 20m circle, jump a cross pole, ride a collected trot for 10m,
ask your horse to go over a pole at liberty, right through to Piaffe….and everything inbetween.

Rules
1) You will need a Facebook account to be able to enter. Both challenges are based on an honesty policy. We ask each participant to do a weekly update on their progress, this will allow us to spot check at the end to verify completion for entry into the prize draw.
2) Payment – There will be no entry accepted into the Facebook group until payment is completed and checked on our order system.
3) Please add your name as it is on Facebook in the notes when making payment.
4) One person per transaction, if you are paying for a family member or friend, please do a separate transaction using their name and ensure you add their Facebook name in the notes also.
5) You will be asked for your order number as part of the enter process into the Facebook group, you will find this on your confirmation email once you have completed payment.
