Our Story

Top Barn Horsemanship centre was established in February 2016 and has since grown into so much more than just a livery yard .


We are proud to of developed a positive and friendly community with a relaxed and fun atmosphere, happily welcoming visitors old and new through out the year.

What is Top Barn Horsemanship Centre?

  • A small friendly livery yard based in the Cotswolds, just outside of Cirencester, with the aim of promoting a calm and relaxed atmosphere for both horses and owners.
  • A place that offers a range of educational opportunities, which include – Private and joint lessons, intensive stays and tournament days.
  • The base of the Top Barn HUB, where the equestrian community can connect, whether people are local or live further field.
    The HUB Riding Club – Monthly clinics and competitions, educational talks and social events.
    The HUB Learning Library – An online learning facility where anyone can connect with Rhian and Zoe from anywhere in the world.
  • The home of Rhian and Zoe, who are the founders of the now famous Top Barn 12 Week Challenge. An online winter motivational support group that runs from January through to the end of March every year.
  • A base to ride out from to explore the local bridleways and glorious countryside using our Park and Ride service.

Zoe Bond


Zoe opened the gates to Top Barn on 1st February 2016, she wanted to run a yard that would welcome customers practicing any horsemanship style or discipline.
Zoe is a keen horsemanship student and also has a passion for photography.



Yard Manager

Rhian joined Top Barn in November 2017 as yard manager and is now also the onsite instructor, she loves watching her students’ progress and achieve their goals.
Rhian competes at Unaffiliated Eventing with her pony Orbit, as well as participating in as many clinics here as she can.



Yard Assistant

Lucy started working at Top Barn in September 2020 as yard assistant, her role is to take care of the livery horses and the upkeep of the yard. Lucy has always worked with horses, previously working in the Stud industry and in her spare time, she enjoys cat cuddling, napping and baking.
