Bring your horse to Top Barn for three days to gain confidence and trial riding experience with us . We can cater from Green / young horses and riders right through to those who have lost their bottle to ride out .

Schedule for your stay
Arrive for 9am start. ( arrival the day before may be possible at an extra cost**)
Hot drinks and introductions by Zoe and Rhian.
Mornings introduction in hand around the course to get you and your horse confident and happy in new environment.
Saddle up to practice the obstacles that will help your horse’s manoeuvrability and confidence if you are ready to do so.
Followed by a short ride out guided by Zoe to get your bearings of the area, returning home to plot the route on our giant map to help you see where we have been. At this point map reading help will be given if needed.
In hand work with the horses to introduce them to the new obstacles you are likely to encounter out on a hack eg umbrellas , cars ect
Saddle up to ride the obstacles and practice some controlled scenarios that may happen when you are out and about.
3 hour guided ride.
You will be taken out by Zoe or Rhian onto one of our most picturesque bridleways, here you will experience different terrains, hill work, water crossings, gate openings and more. This will be your chance to start practicing some of the skills we have already worked on in our play park without the stress of time restraints of a normal ride.
The party may be split into 2 groups depending on confidence .
When we return home we will plot the route on our giant map to ensure you have sufficient map reading skills for the next day.

We have a huge riding brochure with a tonne of rides to chose from, all with varying distances, terrains and scenery.
With many bridleways, byways, country roads and horse friendly pubs, you can pick a ride from our catalogue (map is provided) that will suit you and your horses needs.
Departure from Top Barn no later than 6pm unless arranged with us**
Maximum of 7 people on the camp.
The experience includes for three days;
-Over night stay for your horse in a woodchip pen at DIY (bring own forage).
-Overnight stay for you in our glamping bell tents (bedding provided).
-Use of our communal rest room with all cooking facilities, fridge, freezer, shower, toilet and wifi.
-On hand help, instruction, support and encouragement from Rhian and Zoe.
-The use of our wash down area for your horse.
-The use of the BBQ if wanted
The cost of the experience starts at £250
£100 deposit required upon booking.
*This itinerary may be adjusted due to heat and or participants needs
*If you have booked to come by yourself and would prefer a guide on the 3rd day, it may be able to be arranged at an additional cost
*This is a self catering short stay , all cooking facilities supplied , just bring your own food
**There is now availability to come and stay the night before and/or stay the last night at £40 per person per night
